About Heather

RememberWell.net was created by Heather Swain, a designer, artist, painter, photographer, chef and student of popular culture—music especially. Rememberwell.net was inspired by a course Ms. Swain took on death and dying at the University of California at Berkeley, where she received her degree in Art History. “I am interested not in death, but in the concept and process of dying well and being remembered well afterwards,” she said. “My site is both a resource center and a memorial site. Eventually I'd like it to be the first place people come to find the information they need about death and dying, and to post tributes to the people they loved.”

Ms. Swain, born and raised in the Bay Area of California, has worked in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville and San Francisco. Today, she lives with her two dogs, Darla and Jency La Rue in San Rafael, Ca. and is in the process of establishing the RememberWell Foundation.

About Corey

Corey joined RememberWell in 2008 to provide additional technical and creative support. A student of life with a technical bent, he graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with degrees in Computer Science and Psychology. Always seeking to apply technology in ways that improves lives, he saw RememberWell as an amazing opportunity to do exactly that.

Mr. Weidenhammer was born and raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, and now lives and works in Los Angeles, California as a technology consultant.
